One of Olga's proudest accomplishments is helping to found the Emerson Waldorf School in 1984. She taught German there in the early days and Crystal Mays was one of her students. It is a great pleasure for her to collaborate with Crystal on a children's story so many years later. Olga currently works as a wedding photographer and freelance writer. Olga has degrees in German literature, education, and business.

Crystal has been drawing and painting since childhood when she first learned to hold a beeswax block crayon and a watercolor paintbrush. After Crystal graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 1998, Olga approached Crystal with the story of Squeek. This is her first illustrated children’s book. Crystal enjoys delving into creative expression with her work as a hair artist, and in the realm of dance, painting, and performance art.
